Rat Verlegh Stadium

The stadium of NAC Breda called Rat Verlegh stadium. It is official opened in 1996. Before 1996 NAC Breda played in an another stadium in the Beatrixroad. Then called the Beatrix stadium. But it was on fire and the stadium totaly burned. So they played since 1996 in Rat Verlegh Stadium.In 1996 NAC played its first friendly match between Gremio in a new stadium. And it's now the the stadium of NAC Breda. The name of the stadium has always got a sponsor name in it. The real name was MyCom Stadium. But the supporters of NAC named it the Rat Verlegh stadium. Because the greatest player of all times in Breda: Antoon rat Verlegh. The sponsor name has been change in season 2005-2006 when the president decided to give the Stadium the real name supporters want: Rat Verlegh stadium.
